Ismail came on late notice Saturday evening to do a service on my car as I didn’t have time to take it into a workshop mechanic. His mobile service is very handy and his prices are great I highly recommend him to anyone looking for any mechanical help with there vehicle.

Don’t ever think one of those large franchise mobile mechanics would offer a better service or online quote. I called and asked for a rough estimate on replacing an ignition switch and they the call centre said, currently a special offer of $99 call out fee for the first 15mins. (imagine when is not on special) So, when I asked about the parts and estimate time to complete the job. The replied was, they don’t have that information in the system, must wait till the mechanic has checked the car. So, they want you to commit the $100 bucks first, then is whatever the price they said afterwards.I called Makanzi mobile mechanics and asked the same questions. The charges were clearly explained and in the worst case scenario, the max. I’ll need to pay. Ismail diagnosed and found the issue wasn’t the ignition switch. Ended up I just paid $150 and done! Thanks Ismail!

My brake pads make a knocking clunking sound going over bumps. I had Ismail to replace 2 new front pads and now the sound is gone. His price is reasonable, and I was very happy with the outcome. I will come back again in future if I need any job done.

Ismail came early on a Saturday morning at late notice to complete a pre purchase assessment on a used car. He provided us with invaluable advice and knowledge, pointing out some severe damage to the cars engine and ultimately saving us a small fortune in repairs. I cannot recommend his service enough!

Fantastic customer service, I had Ismail come and replace brake rotors and pads with Makanzis mobile service. The job was efficient, clean (including disposal of replaced parts), and was offered at a great price! I couldn’t recommend their services enough. From the time I initially called to the job being completed was less than 24 hours. I will definitely be using their services again and highly recommend them to anyone.

Best experience with a mechanic yet. Ismail assisted with a pre-purchase inspection on a classic car and for the small cost he potentially saved me thousands. He covered every aspect needed for such an activity including structural integrity of the vehicle, rust, fabrication issues and mechanical diagnostics. Ismail went further to diagnose and explain other general mechanical issues that needed rectification to the vehicle owner. Highest recommendations to anyone needing mechanical assistance of any sort.

I was stranded on the side of the road in 36° weather. My alternator died on me.I searched for a local mobile mechanic and found this absolute gem after calling people who sounded unbothered and uninterested.He spoke clearly, gave me a fair price and was there at the time he said he’d be there!His workmanship was amazing. Talked me through what he was doing and what may need to be done in the future to prolong the use of my car.I’ve had many dealings with mobile mechanics, by far this mechanic was the best. He will be my regular mechanic moving forward🙏

Went to a separate mechanic for an ABS issue. He did a scan and told me ABS pump is faulty and unit needs to be replaced, which would have been over 1k (for a second hand unit). He bashed the ABS with a hammer and said it made the light go away (it could have just been the ECU reseting and forgetting the fault codes, cos it has to be removed to access the ABS). Literally drove for 500m and the ABS light came back.I called Makanzi Mechanics in for a separate issue today, and not only did he resolve it, he got the ABS light to go away aswell! This wasnt a fluke too, I literally drove it around the block 10 times and couldnt get it to come back. Saved me $1000. Couldnt be happier.

Ismail seriously knows his stuff! I needed a pre-purchase inspection done on a car I was planning to buy, which I flew down from Byron to check out. He was available to do the inspection at short notice and for a very fair price. His inspection on the car was thorough and checked stuff I didn't even know you can check. When the car at one stage wasn't starting properly, he immediately identified the cause of it and confirmed that it was a minor issue that I was then able to easily get fixed after buying the car. I'm very happy with the car and can definitely recommend Makanzi Mobile Mechanics.
